HOPE Prayer Center was originally launched on July 9, 2016 under the name HOPE Prayer Room. However, after realizing God’s greater purpose for HOPE was to be more than just a “room” where people pray, but a “center of prayer” for the City of Austin, the name was changed to HOPE Prayer Center, with a two-fold meaning:

“And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer‘ “… (Matthew 21:13)
“One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple.” (Psalm 27:4)
Join city-wide musicians and singers who desire to raise up prophetic worshipers that pursue the heart of God and behold the beauty of Jesus.
“The live worship releases peace and comfort in my heart, also I feel a release from my work and am able to go home in peace.”
“You can feel rest in the presence of God, also there is a tangible feeling of breakthrough in the room as you sit and hear live worship and prayer filling the room.”
“Where to start! God was so good to me in answering a cry of my heart and allowing me to find this place! HOPE Prayer Room has become a home for me over the years. It is a safe place to encounter the presence and peace of God, to grow deeper in His Word and revelation of His great love, and to know- even when everything is falling apart, I can still see Jesus. Just one look, to see and be seen by Love Himself, changes everything.”
“Being in the Prayer Room is peaceful and meaningful. It is where I encounter the Holy Spirit that strengthens my faithful walk with Jesus. It is peace.”
